Peer Support Team members are not licensed therapists, but each of them have received specialized training in listening, providing support, and finding additional resources for you when you’re in need. Outside of “Mandatory Reporting” situations, your conversations with recognized Peer Support Members is deemed privileged communication and is held in the strictest confidence. (RCW 5.60.060)
The Peer Support Team of Lewis County consists of Firefighters, Police Officers, Corrections Officers, Dispatchers and Deputy Coroners from across Lewis County that have come together to form a support network for the mental and physical health of our First Responders.
This team was developed to provide you, Lewis County First Responders, with resources that reach far outside of your own agency. Every one of the Peer Support Members is available to you regardless of agency, profession, or location.
